A friend of mine sent me a link.

And told me, i needed to take part.

If you didn’t click on the link basically, you email them a number between 1 and 100 and they send you a word from a list of 100 words. Then you create a postcard sized piece of artwork using that word as a focus. My frist word was EVERYBODY.

Then i was asked if i wanted to be part of topical challenges, i agreed. They send you a word and ask you to create a postcard for a theme. This one’s theme was the cold weather in the UK and the word was NEWS…

More will follow i’m sure, keep checking back or more topical postcard challenges.

#GhostRiderAuction

So here’s the deal…

I’m not a Marvel guy. I was introduced to comics with Batman and i kinda stuck with DC. I have however read quite a few Marvel comics. I love Thor and Captain America, and have recently been reading more and more X-Men. I have however never read Ghost Rider, i never fealt that it was the right time to start ! However, with the new movie coming out i have ordered a few that were recommended to me.

This morning i read of the ongoing lawsuits between Marvel and Gary Friedrich. For those not in the know, here’s a link. Essentially, Marvel have told Mr Friedrich that he is not allowed to say he created Ghost Rider, even though he did and they’re making him pay back money he has made by saying he created Ghost Rider. Please read the article, and if you can, donate some dollar to help this guy out. Otherwise, head on over to eBay, and bid on my picture of Ghost Rider, which i have made to donate the proceeds to Gary’s fund. The pic measures 210mm x 105mm and is watercoloured !

It is the first time ihave drawn the character, and look forward to drawing more !
