…Robot Detective !

So a while ago, you may remember i drew a picture for Thomas E. Sniegoski when i read his book The Satan Factory. He loved it, and Mike Mignola loved it, so i drew some more. And he loved them too !

Anyway, Thomas said how cool it would be to work on something together..and he got to working on Kurt Contraption : Robot Detective and Mike the Really Smart Monkey. On Friday last week i received the draft of The Case of the Misplaced Sabre-tooth and it blew me away and i haven’t been able to put down the pencil. Of course my job has curtailed the amount i could get done, but i have done the finished the first 4 pages, and drawn out the fifth ! it’s now just awaiting a splashette of colour !

Allow me to show you the first page. It’s awesome. Click to make big, it’s well worth a shufty !

That’s about it for now, but when the pages are done, i’ll let you know !

Wow! This looks brill! After seeing the amount of effort that goes into this (by sitting on the same table as sir in art the other day) I really am amazed how he even has the patience to finish one page.

I’ve started doing some paintings of my own, if anyone wants to have a look head over to http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2039079&id=1087100323&ref=mf I’d really appreciate any advice anyone has!
